I was moved by this ship. The Vikings were a force not to be reckoned with. They were aslo incredible artisans. From the Folk Art Museum, the Kon-Tiki papyrus boat sailed by Thor Heyerdahl to Rappa Nui, the Ski Jump Museum overlooking all of Oslo, the Wooden Houses of the past, and the friendly people has made my working trip here to Norway quite nice and unforgetable. Thanks Oslo for offering an worldy American a glimps of your culture and people. | ![]() Viking Ship Originally uploaded by colorcritical. |
