I am always late to the airport whereever I travel. It seems as if I just make my flight every time. Recently I was in San Francisco north of Golden Gate in Corte Madera visiting a photographer named Larry Sultan. On the way back I took the 101 to the 1 to 298 to 398 and along the way saw some great northern California views of redwood trees and green rolling hills. I can't help by shoot while I drive even though I know it's way dangerous, but I have too especially when the clouds are big and the sky is blue. Along the 1 were these houses all staked next to each other, some of them old and beat up and some of them lived in and comfortable. I loved to see the contrast as I drove by and just had to stick my camera out the window to grab a shot. Here is one of the best I got. I took the sRGB file my G2 captures and used Nik Photo Filters to convert to BW.
