I took a day off today to hang out with my most favorite of people, my son Lucas and wife Justine along with our dear friend Richard Cunningham from Canyon Country. We decided to eat like kings at Hash House and go Tide Pool exploring in Point Loma. The water was a cool 69 degrees and the tide was not low or high, it was just right for a splash. Lucas loved being in the water with all of us. He especially loved it when the waves would crash over the rock he was standing on with Richard. Ah, a perfect day in San diego can be worth the high cost of living, but that still doesn't excuse the average price of a home being over 450K. We also rounded off the day with an evening at Phil's Bar.B.Que, home of the Best Bar.B.Que sauce in America for 2002 and 2003. Man does this place cook up a mean plate of ribs and fries. OK sure we may gain a few pounds but it is worth every finger lickin bite. It's essential to take some time off and I am glad I did.
